The Porsche Panamera Turbo S has been revised for 2014, with a series of subtle styling tweaks and an increase in power output to 570bhp.

The tweaks for the 192mph GT include new front and rear bumpers, new headlights, and a larger tailgate window.

Power comes the same 4.8-litre V8, but with revised twin-turbochargers with larger compressors, plus increased fuel injection pressure and new specially-coated aluminium alloy piston rings.

These changes give rise to an increase in power output of 50bhp, to 570bhp.  Peak torque increases by a similar amount to 750Nm between 2,250 and 5,000rpm, but with the addition of an overboost function which allows for 800Nm in short bursts.

Despite these increases, fuel consumption has been reduced, and now matches the regular Turbo model’s 27.7mpg.

Standard equipment on the Panamera Turbo S includes: Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), an active roll system; Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) which uses an electronically-controlled locking differential in the rear axle to improve traction; and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) which are 50% lighter than conventional set-ups and are more resistant to fade.

The Porsche Panamera Turbo S is available to order now priced from £131,049, with first deliveries expected from January 2014.

The 15cm longer Executive model won’t be coming to the UK.
